Keith Nickoles
I've spent 20 years connecting marketing strategy, design, and code. I build and optimize digital experiences that turn traffic into measurable results.
Work that moved numbers.
A few builds and optimization programs, with the results attached. NDA work is shown anonymized.
Fluent from strategy through results.
Every phase matters, and the process isn't always linear. Knowing all of it lets me be the glue on a project I lead, and a natural addition on one where I'm handling a single portion. I see the whole board and I know how the pieces fit.
Start with the evidence.
I dig into what's actually happening on the site: where people drop off, what they're trying to do and can't, and which assumptions don't hold up. That means analytics and session data, a tagging audit to confirm the numbers can be trusted, and conversations with the people who own the outcome. It's the groundwork a build or a testing program stands on, and it works just as well as a standalone audit.
Turn findings into a plan.
Findings become a plan: what changes first, what gets tested, and how we'll know it worked. I define the measurement up front so success is agreed on before anything is built, and I sequence the work so the highest-leverage changes ship first, always tied to a business goal. This can shape a full engagement or serve as the roadmap your team executes.
From wireframe to working code.
UX and wireframes through to production code, across marketing sites, ecommerce, and custom tools. Designing and developing together keeps the intent intact from concept to launch, so what ships is what was planned. Everything is built fast, accessible, and structured so your team can own it after launch. I can take a project from blank page to live, or build against designs that already exist.
Data you can act on.
The point of measurement is understanding what the data is telling you. I read the numbers, separate signal from noise, and turn them into a clear picture of what's working, what isn't, and where the next opportunity is. It comes back as reporting your team will actually use: dashboards and plain-language summaries that tie the metrics to the goals that matter. I can own the analytics on an ongoing engagement or come in to make sense of data you already have.
Always room to grow.
I look at the whole picture of how a site performs and improve it on every front: conversion behavior, page speed and Core Web Vitals, technical SEO and search visibility, and the friction points that quietly cost you. Some of it gets proven with controlled experiments, and some is a clear fix worth shipping outright. Everything ties back to the goals we set, and I can run it as an ongoing program or as a focused pass on a single problem.
